Some bad news when we arrived in Krabi -> Airco problems in 1 bungalow of the hotel Golden Beach Resort, so they tranferred us to another one.
Of course, they explained it is one of same quality, but just compare yourself with the pictures of reception, bathroom and bungalow yourself.
After SOS call ;-) to Patrick, who stayed in Bangkok with Suwat, we decided to enjoy the evening and had some Thai food.
After a night of sleep (not a good one for me since noisy airco) we could see the positive points of this Krabi Resort hotel which certainly had its good years 10-20 years ago -> Breakfast next to the beach.
We decided to make it a relaxed day with some sunbathing
Around 1 o'clock we already could change hotels, and thanks to Patrick's intervention the compensation by a dinner was increased by an upgrade of bungalow for 1 of us. Could you wish a better organisor than Patrick ;-)

Kathleen took the shortest straw, so we got the upgrade :-) 
-> Great bathroom with jacuzzi (picture you can see above).
No worry for Michele and Kathleen, the Golden Beach Bungalow is certainly a big upgrade compared to Krabi Resort :
