After a first night we discovered the city

After our first 1/2 day yesterday - mainly focused on discovering Thai food (njamnjam), the biggest shopping centers and taking the sky train for the first time, we deserved a good night.

We have a nice view over the city when looking out of our window at the 11th floor.

Starting with a swim in the pool around 8am we took the longtail(speed)boat to visit the Klongs on the Chao Phraya before visting the Royal Palace and the Wat Phra Keo.

Too many impressions to write down, but I'll try to add more pictures later on (actually in an internet cafe and we need to be ready in time for dinner).

After the Palace (I have also some nice pics of the guards ;-) we visited the Wat Po with the lying Buddha (45 meters long, so too long to put on 1 picture).

We had lunch in China Town and visited the enormously crowded streets.

For the second time we drunk something at Starbucks and will now head for some Thai restaurant at the riverside....
