After breakfast at 7h30 we visited the Sukhothai site (by bike)And we saw : Wat, Buddha, Buddha, Buddha, Wat, Buddha, ... Could sound boring, but that is not the case with our lovely guide and the different styles of Buddhas...
We left Sukhothai and drove to Lampang where we enjoyed a 'local' lunch
and we visited a ... Wat ... This time it was one in 'Birma style'

We stopped at a gaz station where I also bought some new tissues (for the nose this time ;-). Doing this is also a cultural event, because kleenex with Kitty pictures -> very fashion for girls and women overhere.
And what did we visit in Lamphun ? Yes ...
After check-in in the hotel in Chiang Mai we went for a Japenese dinner and ended at the night market with a banana pancake as a dessert.

Hallo jongens, ben vandaag pas eerste keer naar jullie blog komen kijken, Kerst in Thailand ziet er inderdaad fake uit, maar verder geeft het verslag (mooie foto's en leuke tekstjes) weer dat jullie echt genieten en een relaxte vakantie beleven, al hollen jullie in werkelijkheid waarschijnlijk van de ene Boeddha naar de andere tempel met tussendoor een knuffel van een lieve olifant (let toch maar op hé - remember Fumbe...). Veel plezier ginder nog en tot binnenkort.
Hoi my dearest friends ! Het ziet er daar allemaal fantastisch uit zeker vergelijken met het grijze weer bij ons ! Echt spijtig dat ik er niet bij ben maar zo te zien amuseren jullie je daar genoeg zonder mij hé...snif...snif... Zend nog maar mooie foto's door zodat ik kan wegdromen van de eindejaarsdrukte in de bank ! xxx Kris
